Day 01 Arrival Delhi
Met on arrival and transfer to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 02 In Delhi
Full day city tour of Delhi visiting The Hindu temple
– Birla Mandir, The Mighty Red Fort, Friday Mosque
– Jama Masjid, The Silver Streets of Chandni Chowk,
Raj Ghat – The Cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi
, The India Gate – a 42 M high war memorial, Rashtrapati
Bhawan – The president's house, Tomb of Emperor
Humayun, Qutab Minar – a 73 M high victory tower
and The Bahai Temple – shaped like a Lotus flower
& a proof of India's Secularism. Visit the Red Fort
once again to witness the Son-Et-Lumiere show followed
by Indian Theme dinner at the famous Indian restaurant
– The Chore Bizzare. Return to hotel for overnight
stay. |

Day 03 Delhi – Agra (Shatabadi
Exp.)
Transfer to railway station in time to connect train for Agra.
Met on arrival and transfer to hotel. After a wash and change,
proceed for a city tour of Agra visiting The World famous
Taj Mahal, one of the wonders of the world – a monument
of love created by emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his Beloved
wife Mumtaz Mahal & perhaps the most perfect architectural
monument in the world, the Red Fort – a testament to
the rise & fall of the Mughal Empire built by Emperor
Shah Jahan in red sand stone over 400 years ago. Return to
hotel for overnight stay.
Day 04 Agra - Jaipur
Drive to Jaipur covering a distance of 250 kms en-route visiting
Fatehpur Sikri.. Approximately 35 kms outside Agra, built
in the 16th Century, this city was abandoned 12 years later
due to scarcity of water. The entire city of red sand stone,
palace & temples is virtually intact and a sight worth
seeing is the 54 mtrs high main entrance – The Buland
Darwaza, the gate of victory constructed to commemorate Akbar's
victory in Gujrat. Drive on to Jaipur, on arrival, check in
at hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 05 Jaipur – Jodhpur (Intercity Express)
City tour of Jaipur visiting the Amber Fort – Situated
11 kms from Jaipur, Amber was once the ancient capital of
Jaipur state. The fort is a superb example of Rajput architecture
stunningly situated on a hillside & overlooking a lake,
which reflects its terraces & ramparts. The climb to the
Fort is on Gaily Bedecked Elephants. Your tour of the Pink
city takes you to Hawa Mahal – the Palace of Winds,
The facade of which is all pink windows & filigree screens,
The Jantar Mantar – largest & best preserved 18th
Century stone observatory, The City Palace – still home
of the former royalty H.H BHAWANI Singh Ji of Jaipur housing
an extensive collection of art, carpets & old weapons.
Evening transfer to railway station in time to connect train
for Jodhpur. Met on arrival and transfer to hotel for overnight
stay.
Day 06 Jodhpur - Jaisalmer
Your tour of this desert city takes you to one of the most
imposing forts – The Mehrangarh fort, with its intricately
carved sand stone verifier setting, seemingly impregnable
& built atop 400 ft high rock. Close to the fort is the
Jaswant Thada – the royal crematorium & a cenotaph
of the rulers of Jodhpur built in translucent white marble.
Walk through the local Giridkot & the Sardar Market, Colorful
Bazars where one can shop for textiles, handicrafts &
clay figurings. Later, drive to Jaisalmer covering a distance
of 270 kms. On arrival, check in at hotel for overnight stay.
Day 07 In Jaisalmer
City tour of Jaisalmer visiting Temples, Palaces & Havelis
(Mansions). Patwon ki Haveli & Salim Singh ki Haveli being
the most elobrate... All intricately decorated with increidble
skill. Rest of the day free for independent activities. Overnight
at hotel.
Day 08 Jaisalmer - Jodhpur airport – Udaipur IC-7194
(1920-2000)
Drive to Jodhpur covering a distance of 270 kms in time to
connect flight for Udaipur.Met on arrival and transfer to
hotel for overnight stay.
Day 09 In Udaipur
One of the Most Romantic cities of Rajasthan, Udaipur is better
known as the city of Lakes. Your tour takes you to The City
Palace -- towering over the lake, this is the largest palace
complex in Rajasthan. The main part of Palace is preserved
as a museum with a large & varied collection of glass,
Porcelain figures & a Miniature paintings. Located only
150 mts form the City palace is the famous Jagdish Temple
-- which enshrines a black stone image of lord Vishnu as jagannath,
Lord of the Universe and Saheliyon Ki Bari -- or garden of
the maids of honor. A small ornamental garden with fountains,
stone elephants & a delightful lotus pool. Evening at
leisure. Overnight at leisure.
Day 10 Udaipur – Bombay 9W-3406 (1925-2110)
Transfer to airport to connect flight for Bombay
Met on arrival and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 11 Bombay – Back Home
City tour of Bombay visiting The Kamla Nehru Park, Hanging
Gardens situated on the slopes of Malabar Hill, Which offer
a panoramic view of the Marine drive & the Chowpatty beach.
Also visit the Prince of Wales museum, Gateway of India &
drive through the Crawford market, Marine drive & Flora
Fountain. Evening transfer to hotelto connect flight for onward
destination.
